Born to an Argentine father and a French mother, Simo Cell draws from a deeply personal sonic imagination. With releases on cutting-edge labels like Livity Sound, BFDM, and Wisdom Teeth, he is among the rare artists of his generation to break into the UK scene—an often insular territory resistant to outside talent.
In 2021, his mini-album YES.DJ set clubs around the world on fire, becoming a dancefloor staple. His latest album, Cuspide des Sirènes, dives into a dreamlike universe where slowed-down rhythms hypnotize the listener. This deeply personal project, conceived as a magical odyssey, even comes with a Game Boy video game—further proof that Simo Cell is constantly rewriting the rulebook.
