PLEUR is a musical collaboration between producer Ulysse Klotz, aka Aamourocean, and singer Baptiste Betoulaud of the band Rallye. A multi-dimensional, dreamlike journey, PLEUR’s music transports listeners to a world filled with ambivalence, suspended between violence and tenderness, loss and upheaval, storms and calm.
Blending hardcore, hardstyle, gabber, and French pop, their songs are conceived as anthems to intense emotion. Somewhere between fairy tales and nursery rhymes, PLEUR’s lyrics poetically trace the twists and turns of life against the backdrop of a rave.
To accompany the music, the visual identity is created by the graphic design studio C'estainsi. Combining live action and computer-generated imagery, they immerse us in a parallel universe where two protagonists — a monster and a child — meet, embodying the ambivalence at the heart of the duo’s music.
