A club night is above all a cathartic sensory experience. Cristofeu understands this perfectly, as his years spent in London gave him the opportunity to immerse himself passionately in UK electronic culture. It was enough to make him want to get behind the turntables and develop a progressive, cosmic, moving style with a trance, psy and breakbeat reflection. A universe he has been able to bring to Hors-Sol events in Paris, during closing sets at Macadam in Nantes and even to abandoned factories, where the rave dimension of his work takes on its full meaning.
As a solo producer and member of the Pureblast duo, Cristofeu has also launched his Discoteca record label to promote original collaborations with other artists on the French and international scene. A way for the DJ and producer to unite a collective energy around himself. The kind that takes you through psychedelic nights and leaves you exhausted but happy as the first rays of sun appear.
